Finished Drawing on Jon Snow

Here is my finished drawing on Jon Snow from HBO's Game of Thrones. It took around 15 hours, the darkest pencil i used was a 6b and the lightest pencil, and H. i also used pencil smudge rs and a pencil burnisher. He was difficult to draw because of the hair and fur, out of a 10 I would give this picture a 8.5 for difficulty. Although i did think it turned out not to bad.His face was the most fun to draw. I am currently drawing Robb Stark from Game of Thrones

What im currently working on: Jon Snow Drawing

Right now I'm working on a drawing of Jon Snow from Game of Thrones. What i have done so far is:
1. I drew an outline that looked like the picture i was drawing.
2. I started with the eyes using a B (very light) and then i started using a 3B to darken the eyes.
3. I shaded in the shadows from his hair with a 3B but i pressed a little harder to make it darker, but not as dark as the eyes.
4. I determined which part of the lips were shadowed in the picture and shaded what the darkest parts of the lips with a 3B and i used a burnisher.
5. I used a pencil smudger and a burnisher and i used it on the whole face, also i did any extra details with my B and 2H pencil. I also made sure to do the facial hair lightly.
6. I then started working on the clothing, when drawing someone, make sure you spend a lot of time on their clothes, I skipped out on that with my Rick Grimes drawing but it will help you a lot if you want a very detailed drawing.

And that's as far as i am!

What I always make sure to do and make the eyes and the hair the darkest parts on the drawing, It brings more attention to the face.
--als, Sorry the photo is bad quality, I took it with my Ipod because my brother was using my camera ;p

Sonny Moore drawing

I Finished this drawing of skrillex about a week ago, I used 8b, 6b, and 3b pencils for this, also i used a 2H it took around 10 hours.

Step-by-Step drawing of Rick Grimes

First what I did was I chose a picture, I chose the season 4 promo picture of Rick Grimes from the Walking Dead, then i made an outline on sketch paper and started to color the hair, I used a 3b for the darker parts in the hair and a 2h for the base shape of the hair. I randomly started drawing the eyes. I used a 3b and 6b because darker eyes make the drawing look better in the end at least that's my opinion. ;p I added the wrinkles beside ricks eyes.  In my opinion, if you want anything in the drawing to look good it should be the eyes, you can always tell who someone is by the eyes.
I finished shading the eyes and the eyebrows and made sure that the creases were prominent.
I started to shade the darker shadowed side of his face. I zoomed up on his face on the picture on my ipod and made sure to pay very close attention to detail, I sharpened the H pencil and made it look more realistic. Paying close attention to shading helps in the long run, it takes time but its worth it.
I then started working on Rick's facial hair which was a lot of work ;p make sure you spend a lot of time on the facial hair, it gets boring but using defined strokes really makes the drawing look realistic

I finished his beard and made sure to add the dark and light strands. i used a 2H and a 6B and 3B for this. i also finished his mouth I worked on it a bit later after i took this progress picture.
I shaded the clothing and the gun although I could have done a better job on it, I had trouble with the gun since it was not focused in the picture that I used I used a 6b and a pencil smudger on this part of the picture.
I finished the drawing and added any little effects that I missed and put on my signature, this drawing took around 8 hours.

My drawing of Emily from the Corpse Bride

I used various coloured pencils and a sharpener for this project.

First I created an accurate outline with a regular HB pencil.

Then I outlines the black spots on her face (ei: the eyebrows and the eyes and nostrils)
I colored the face first using purples, blues and pinks.

I then coloured the hair with  navy blue and royal blue pencil crayons, I added some loose strands to make her hair seem a bit messy (i mean she is dead! :p)
Then I coloured her very defined collar bones and outlined the ribs and I coloured her arms aswell.
I then finished by colouring the dress, the flower crown and the veil.
Overall, Emily was very fun to draw! I loved using the cool colours :)
